The Best Pubs For Food directory website is freely accessible to all visitors and it is our intention for it to remain that way. Therefore, we operate solely on low annual featured listings, Guide inclusion fees and advertising revenue. The site provides several options that will ideally provide the perfect solution for any listing or advertising need.
Listing Options
Licensees may choose at what level they wish their listing to appear in the directory. Currently there are several options for listing with Best Pubs For Food.
Annual Listing Options Include:

Regular Listings features are the basis for all of the options listed above. Each allows the licensee to link to and display a thumbnail image of their website. When adding a listing, the directory service extracts certain data from the subscribing URL(if available). Most notably, the title, description and keywords from the website are captured and incorporated into the listing details at Best Pubs For Food. We encourage all licensees to review this data during the registration process and to update as necessary for the listing as well as on their website. Although the listing is not intended to replace a website, it is important that the visitor can envision the environment through the description presented. Licensees are granted up to 4000 characters for that description. All licensees are also permitted to list their venue in two distinct categories. As new listings are added, they are initially promoted on the main site page in addition to their selected category locations.
Reciprocal Listings differ from a Regular Listing in that a licensee agrees to place a link stating: We are listed at BestPubsForFood.com on their website as a courtesy to Best Pubs for Food. Please note that the reciprocal link must be placed at the time of order placement. Contact us with any questions.
Featured Listings offer the same features as the Regular Listing with the added benefit of prime placement. Featured Listings are visible at the top of each list and have a red outline to distinguish them from the Regular Listings. In addition, when added to the directory, they temporarily reside in the New Featured Listings section of the site home page, which is at the very top of the main page. Placement in the second category is also qualified as a Featured Listing and therefore provides even greater exposure for the venue.
Regular or Featured Listing w/Guide Listing provides additional exposure to your establishment in a guide that is currently produced on an annual basis. The 2014 version is currently under development and will be closed to new submissions as of December 15, 2013.

Advertising Options
There are 3 standard advertising locations on the website available for purchase on a 12 month basis.
Banner Rotation (468 x 60) - appear at the top of all pages on a rotational basis
Sidebar (144 x 144) - appear on the left or right hand side of all pages
Static Page - appears below body text in selected "Menu" page (excluding "Home")
Prices start at $89.95 per year for banner rotation and from $129.95 per year for sidebar advertising. Static page advertisements start at $69.95, varying upward in cost based on size of ad, hierarchy of placement, page selection and complexity of request.
